PayPal QR Code Generator

A PayPal QR code opens your PayPal.Me payment page so someone can send you money without typing a link or looking up your email. Paste your PayPal.Me address below — it is encoded straight into the code, which is static and never expires.

Looks scannable

What happens when someone scans it

The phone opens your PayPal.Me page in the browser or the PayPal app, with your name shown and a field to enter the amount (or a fixed amount if you set one in the link). The sender reviews and confirms the payment themselves — the QR only opens the page.

How to make a PayPal QR Code

  1. 1

    Get your PayPal.Me link

Set one up at paypal.me — it looks like paypal.me/yourname. Add an amount for a fixed request, e.g. paypal.me/yourname/10.

  2. 2

    Paste the link

Enter the full https://paypal.me/... URL. The preview updates as you type.

  3. 3

    Style and check it scans

Add your colours and logo, then let the scan check confirm it still reads at print size.

  4. 4

    Download

SVG for printed cards and signage, PNG for a website or invoice.

Where to use it

  • Tip jars and 'support us' cards at a counter or stall
  • Invoices and payment-request emails (as an image)
  • Fundraisers, stalls and community events
  • Freelancer and creator pages
  • Market stands taking card-free payments

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a PayPal.Me link, or will my email work?

You need a PayPal.Me link — it is the shareable payment page PayPal provides. A plain email address is not a web page, so it cannot be a QR destination on its own.

Can I set a fixed amount?

Yes. Add it to the link: paypal.me/yourname/25 opens the page pre-filled with 25 in your account currency. Leave it off to let the sender choose.

Does PayPal charge a fee?

PayPal's own fees apply to payments as normal — that is between you and PayPal. This tool only makes the QR code and is completely free.

Can I change the link after printing?

No, the code is static. Generate a new one if your PayPal.Me address changes.

Is my PayPal information sent anywhere?

No. Only the PayPal.Me URL you paste is encoded into the code, and that happens in your browser. Nothing is uploaded to us.
