FAQ

How many badges can I make?

As many as your list holds, up to 20,000 people in one list, with no charge and no watermark. Each person gets their own badge, and you can print several copies of each. Big jobs are printed in parts of 100 pages so your browser stays quick. The PNG and SVG downloads always include everyone.

What sizes can a badge be?

Any size you type, in millimetres. Ready sizes include conference 4 × 3 in, portrait 3 × 4 in, card 90 × 55 mm, A6, lanyard 4 × 6 in and wristbands. Turn it sideways with one click.

What paper can I print on?

A4, US Letter, A3, A5 or US Legal. The page is filled with as many badges as fit, with your gap and margin, or you can use a card sheet. Crop marks show where to cut. You can also start partway down a used sheet.

How do I get my attendee list in?

Choose a CSV or Excel file, drop it on the page, or paste rows from Excel or Google Sheets. You match each column to a field (name, role, company, email, ticket) or make a new field. Replace the list or add to it.

What does the QR code on each badge do?

Your choice per code: a contact card (scanning offers to save the person's name, company, role and email), the ticket number, or your own text or link with fields in it, like https://yoursite.in/p/{ticket}. These are plain codes: the data is inside, so they work for ever and need no account.

Can I colour badges by role?

Yes. Add a role colour band and give each role a colour, such as Speaker, Sponsor, Staff, VIP. A person with no role prints grey, and the checks tell you who has none.

Can I print both sides?

Yes. Design a back (schedule, Wi-Fi, a map, sponsors) and print it behind every front, either after all the fronts or right after each one for a double-sided printer. The columns are mirrored so the backs line up.

What are the print checks?

Before you print, a health score finds what would go wrong on paper: text that does not fit, a QR code that is too small or too faint, a missing role, an email that looks wrong, two people with the same ticket, and anything sticking out of the edge.

Can I save my design?

Yes. Your work is kept on this device as you go, and you can save a design as one of your own templates, with your brand colour and logo. Nothing is uploaded.

Is attendee data uploaded anywhere?

No. The list is read and every badge is drawn in your browser. It is kept only on your own device.

Making labels or price tags too? The label editor is the same tool with barcodes, serial numbers and Avery sheets.
