Frequently asked questions
How many barcodes can I generate at once?
Up to 250 per batch — from a pasted list (one value per line) or a numbered series with a prefix, start number and digit padding. Run more than one batch for larger sets.
What do I get?
A single ZIP containing one file per barcode, named after its value. Choose SVG (vector, best for print) or PNG (rendered at 4×).
Which barcode type should I use for a product range?
EAN-13 or UPC-A for retail (you need GS1-issued numbers to sell through shops). Code 128 for internal SKUs, shipping and warehouse labels — it's compact and takes any characters.
Do I need to add check digits?
No. For EAN-13, UPC-A, EAN-8 and ITF-14 you can list the numbers without the final check digit and it's added automatically.
What if some values aren't valid for the type I picked?
The count shows how many will be skipped before you generate, and the rest still come through. Fix the type or the values and re-run for a complete set.
Is anything uploaded?
No. Every barcode is drawn in your browser and zipped there. Nothing leaves your device and there's no account.
